How to build a station of steel

For the Municipality of The Hague and the Dutch Railways, we constructed all of the steel structures for the ‘Zuider-ingang’ (Southern entrance) of the Hollands Spoor railway station in The Hague. This concerns a complex spherical, wide-span roof structure, a circular dome connecting the corners of a 40 x 40 metres square. The entire structure is supported by 4 main columns. In addition, we delivered all of the other canopy structures, stairs and banisters, as well as the beautifully designed lamp-posts.
