Construction started: Nederwiek (NWA 1)

Following IJmuiden Ver Alpha, construction has now also started at our second ‘Offshore Grid – 2GW’ converter station for TenneT Netherlands: Nederwiek 1.
The first 500 tonnes of steel are now standing tall!

Together with our partners TenneT Netherlands, Dura Vermeer, WSP and SPIE Nederland, we are helping to build the converter stations that form the link between offshore wind farms and the Dutch high-voltage grid — an essential step towards a climate-neutral Europe.
