De Kok Staalbouw, established at Bergsebaan 67 in Heerle, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as specified in this privacy statement.

Collection and use of personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors

Please note that we will collect and use the personal data you provide us with since this is necessary for the conclusion and execution of any agreement with you. This applies both to our customers and potential customers and to parties from whom we purchase products and/or services.

If you are or are about to be a customer of ours, we will use your details to send you a quotation, to determine the specifications or wishes a particular item or service should meet, to be able to deliver items or carry out work for you, to invoice you and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.

If you are or are about to be a supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of purchasing, we need the data in order to be able to let you know the specifications or wishes a particular item or service must meet as far as we are concerned, to be able to send a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, it is possible that we will be unable to carry out the aforementioned work.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the execution of any agreement with you, we may have to provide your personal data to parties who supply parts, materials and products to us or who carry out work on our behalf. We also use external server space to store all or some of our sales and purchasing records, of which your personal data are a part. For this reason, your personal data will be passed on to our server room provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for emails and other files.

Retention period

We do not retain data longer than is necessary for the performance of our business, unless we are required by law to do so.

Collection and use of applicants’ personal data

If you are an applicant, we will delete your application data no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application process, unless you have given us permission to keep your data for a maximum period of 1 year.

Visitor data

General visitor data is recorded on the De Kok Staalbouw website, including your computer’s IP address and the time of retrieval and data that your browser sends. This data is used for analysis of visitor behaviour and clickstream analysis on the website. De Kok Staalbouw uses this information to improve the operation of the website. This data will be rendered anonymous as far as possible and will not be passed on to third parties.

Google Analytics

De Kok Staalbouw uses Google Analytics to keep track of how users use the website and how effective De Kok Staalbouw’s Adwords ads are on Google search result pages.

De Kok Staalbouw has not given Google permission to use analytics information obtained for other Google services.

Camera surveillance

Camera surveillance is used on the car park and outside the office and workshop premises. Camera surveillance is necessary to protect our property. The images are adequately secured and kept for 2 months. These camera images can be viewed by management and system administrators.

Security

De Kok Staalbouw takes the protection of your data seriously and adopts appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification of that data. The website of De Kok Staalbouw uses a reliable SSL Certificate, which guarantees the security of your personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to request we let you view your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to correct inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request the deletion of, or the restriction of use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
