Overhead cranes Bilbao

The Haizea Wind Group in Bilbao produces large metal parts for offshore wind turbines, such as wind towers, foundations and transition pieces. Their production and assembly process requires exceptional heavy overhead cranes.

For this, they turned to De Kok Staalbouw.

This project involved a total of 6 complicated overhead cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 250 tonnes and a span of 56 meters. The greatest challenge was the transport of these heavy and long objects from our factory in Heerle to Bilbao.

No challenge is too big for De Kok Staalbouw. In 2023, we successfully accomplished the production, transport assembly and delivery of the first set overhead cranes, and in January 2024, the second part will follow.
