Shipyard Qatar

The Joint Venture of de Kok Staalbouw was commissioned to build a new shipyard in the port of Ras Laffan Industrial City in northern Qatar.

The Joint Venture was awarded the order for the complete delivery and assembly of 12,500 tonnes of steel structures, 65,000 m² of roof cladding, 35,000 m² of wall cladding, 4,500 m² of sliding and rolling doors, 3,500 m² of treadplate landings, 4,400 metres of handrails and 80 cage ladders and staircases.
