Offshore grid - 2GW Landstations TenneT

Together with our partners Dura Vermeer, WSP and SPIE Netherlands, De Kok Staalbouw has been selected to collaborate within TenneT's 'Offshore Grid - 2GW land stations' framework agreement for the upcoming years.

The new innovation 2GW standard, realizes the connection of offshore wind farms and brings the generated power to land using a high voltage direct current (HVDC) connection. In collaboration with our partners, De Kok Staalbouw will construct the land stations, which will form the link between the wind farms and the high-voltage grid.

We are very proud of the beautiful collaboration and the trust to apply our expertise together with our partners and to be part of this national milestone. An important step towards a climate neutral Europe in 2050!
