1000 tonnes of steel assembled in 7 weeks, on to the next 2000!

Last month we started the assembling of the steel structure for the TKF project at Eemshaven, commissioned by Dura Vermeer and Friso Bouwgroep.

De Kok Staalbouw managed to assemble about 1000 tonnes of steel in 7 weeks, out of a total of about 3000 tonnes. This week we started assembling the 24,358 m² of roof sheeting.

Last week we also started the assembly of the 2 towers called the VLM and the CDCC, which reach as high as 45 meters.

The tower of the VLM will be composed of 22 trusses of about 30 tons with a length of 30 meters and a width of 8 meters.
