Colorcon project

We proudly look back on the realization of Colorcon’s new production facility in Almere. This project brought together nearly all of our areas of expertise.

Facts & Figures

• 700 tonnes of steel, optimized and smartly segmented for efficient transport, lifting, and assembly.
• 2,200 m² of steel deck concrete floors and a Process Tower with challenging assembly logistics.
• 6,000 m² of wall cladding and 2,300 m² of roof cladding, supplemented with 250 m² of curtain wall façades.
• Roof girders spanning 47 meters.

With this new facility, Colorcon strengthens its position as a production hub for GMP starch-based products in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Located at a prime site with direct logistics connections via Schiphol Airport and the Port of Amsterdam.
